Subscription & service terms

Clear terms for a platform built to keep moving.

These terms govern MyMEX Cards accounts, subscriptions, digital cards, workspace tools and related services provided by Motoring Excellence.

01

Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, accepting a tenant invitation, starting a subscription or using MyMEX Cards, you agree to these terms and the privacy notice. You must be legally able to contract for yourself or have authority to act for the business named on the account. Account information must be accurate and kept current.

02

Account creation and activation

The main tenant selects card capacity and a monthly or annual cycle, creates a secure account and verifies its email address. Paid capacity activates only after PayPal confirms the subscription. Jarvis may guide setup, but the tenant remains responsible for reviewing business details, card content and publishing choices.

03

Subscriptions, prices and renewal

Prices are calculated from active card capacity and the published price version shown before checkout. Annual billing currently includes the displayed annual discount; the checkout total is the controlling price for that purchase. PayPal processes recurring payments under its own terms. Unless cancelled, a subscription renews for the selected monthly or annual period. Taxes, currency conversion or provider charges may apply where shown by PayPal or required by law.

04

Card capacity and changes

Each active published card consumes one purchased card place. Archived cards do not consume paid capacity. A tenant may request more capacity through the billing workflow; the new capacity becomes available only after PayPal verifies the revised subscription. Reducing capacity may require cards above the new limit to remain archived until enough capacity is available.

05

Trials and complimentary access

A platform master may grant a fixed seven-day trial or complimentary access. A trial does not create a PayPal charge and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. Trial access expires at the stated time unless a paid subscription or separate grant is activated. Complimentary access may be changed or withdrawn by Motoring Excellence, subject to any separate written agreement.

06

Cancellation, suspension and refunds

You may stop future recurring billing through the available PayPal automatic-payment controls or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect when confirmed by the payment provider and does not automatically refund a completed billing period. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved in writing. We may suspend access for failed payment, material breach, security risk or unlawful use while preserving tenant data where reasonably possible.

07

Tenant administration and staff cards

The main tenant controls its workspace, card holders, permissions, shared media and business content. When staff roles change, the tenant is responsible for promptly updating access, archiving or reassigning cards and maintaining accurate routing. Tenant administrators must not share passwords or give users more access than their role requires.

08

Content and acceptable use

You retain responsibility for content you upload or publish and confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis to use it. You may not use MyMEX Cards for fraud, harassment, unlawful discrimination, impersonation, malware, deceptive offers, unsolicited messaging, rights infringement, security testing without permission or activity that disrupts the platform or another tenant.

09

Customer communication and consent

Email, WhatsApp, push and CRM features must be used for a lawful service purpose or with the required consent. Tenants are responsible for suppression, opt-out, frequency and record-keeping obligations that apply to their communications. MyMEX controls do not replace a tenant’s legal duties or professional judgement.

10

Jarvis and assisted workflows

Jarvis can explain, draft, classify and recommend. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed before publishing, sending or relying on it. Jarvis may not be used to invent facts, bypass permissions or make final legal, financial, medical or eligibility decisions. Important customer-facing actions remain subject to an authorised human confirmation step.

11

Third-party services

PayPal, email providers, browsers, mapping services, messaging apps and other integrations operate under their own terms and availability. MyMEX will use reasonable care when exchanging data with configured services, but cannot control a third party’s outage, eligibility decision, account restriction or policy change.

12

Availability, security and backups

We aim to keep the service secure and available, but no online service is uninterrupted. Planned maintenance, urgent security work and events outside reasonable control may affect access. Tenants should keep independent copies of business-critical source material and promptly report suspected account misuse.

13

Intellectual property

Motoring Excellence owns the MyMEX platform, software, design system, platform branding and documentation, excluding tenant content and third-party materials. While an account is authorised, the tenant receives a limited, non-transferable right to use the service for its internal business purposes. No source code, security mechanism or platform asset may be copied, reverse engineered or resold except where the law does not permit that restriction.

14

Liability and responsibility

Each party remains responsible for loss caused by its own unlawful conduct, fraud, wilful misconduct or obligations that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, MyMEX is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, inaccurate tenant content or third-party service failure. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable consumer law does not allow a supplier to exclude.

15

Termination, data and changes

When access ends, public publishing and tenant administration may be paused while data is retained for legitimate service, legal, security and recovery purposes. Reasonable export or deletion requests can be made through support, subject to identity verification and applicable obligations. We may update these terms when the service, pricing or law changes and will publish the new effective date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.

16

Law and contact

These terms are governed by South African law, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. Questions, cancellation help or legal notices may be sent through the secure support form, to admin@motoringexcellence.com, or by calling +27 84 922 0000.
